VLA DMT Framework

VLA Origin aligns with the Digital Matter Theory (DMT) concept by reflecting the narrative style of VeryLongAnimals, which evokes the essence of prehistoric creatures — epitomising the concept of being ‘Very Long’.

In VLA Origin, DMT governs the creation of NATs. While the animals are predetermined, their images, attributes, rarity, and various other traits are all influenced by the elements on the block hash and are completely non-arbitrary.

Multi-Colour Framework:

VLA Origin utilises a Multi-Colour Framework to categorise each animal based on the period in which they went extinct. This framework assigns specific backgrounds and Attributes to the UNAT depending on the elements in the block hash.

For instance, Dickinsonia, extinct during the Proterozoic era approximately 2.5 to 0.542 billion years ago, is assigned a background that reflects this period. Similarly, Anomalocaris, extinct between 541 to 485.4 million years ago, is also represented by a different background.

The underline represents each animal's attributes determined by their block hash.

This framework provides collectors with an intuitive way to identify and explore the diversity of extinct species within the ecosystem.

Hash-based Generation

Each UNAT is a unique illustration featuring already-extinct species.

Within the vast array of information contained within blocks, we specifically rely on the information within block hashes to extract data for creating UNATs, particularly Kaprekar’s Constant.

VLA Origin NATs supply is determined by the appearance of Kaprekar's Constant (6174) in the block hash. Each of the UNAT’s attributes is linked to the elements in the block hash, and NATs will only exist for block hashes containing Kaprekar's constant "6174".

The digits in the block hashes play a pivotal role in determining the type of animal, its epoch, attributes, and other relevant characteristics.

To further illustrate, we will be using Bitcoin’s 14,896th Block, with the Hash: 0000000044bbf037700a69ce8e6415c2cc3afd61741064890c35751332b55f1d

In this example, the UNAT that will be generated from the digits '32b55f1d' is a Giant Penguin from the Eocene Epoch, with a Spirit Attribute, and has 15 PA, 15 PB, 21 PC, 12 PD, and 13 PE traits respectively.

Rarity

The rarity of each animal is determined by the block hash, with each animal possessing unique chronicle IDs. There are 256 hexadecimal patterns because the last two digits of the block hash define the chronicle IDs. The age of the chronicle IDs corresponds to the extinction years of the animals: older IDs indicate animals that became extinct earlier. The initial launch price is higher, reflecting the assumption that greater costs are incurred in their restoration.

Example

Epoch (Background)

The rarity of VLA OG NATs is determined by the geological period they represent.

Depending on their designated geological period, UNATs will emerge, ranging from the Proterozoic era to Modern Times, each representing its own rarity count and frame type.

The rarity of an animal within Earth's historical timeline directly correlates with its scarcity in NAT generation. Some animals, positioned further back in Earth's history, may have only a single iteration, while more abundant species might manifest in multiple iterations with diverse traits and characteristics.

Hence, the older its extinction age, the more challenging it is to revive the species, leading to higher launch prices and a rarer appearance ratio for the UNATs associated with more ancient epochs.

The distinction between epochs is reflected in each UNAT's background.

Attributes (Elemental Frame)

In VLA Origin, attributes define the essence of each animal, determined by the digits in the block hash.

From the fiery vigour of "Fire" to the tranquil aura of "Peaceful," each attribute is embodied within VLA Origin UNATs with distinct traits and characteristics.

The attributes of the UNATs are determined by the third-to-the-last hexadecimal digit of the block hash, with each digit corresponding to a specific attribute, and is reflected by the Elemental Frame surrounding each UNAT.

NAT Parameters

All the information is derived from the digits in the block hash, and the appearance of VLA OG NAT’s frames is influenced by Earth’s historical periods.

When '6174' appears in a block hash, it triggers the creation of a VLA OG NAT. The final two digits of the hash determine the animal type, indicating its place in Earth’s timeline and geological Epoch. The third-last digit signifies the animal's attribute, and the fourth to eighth digits represent non-visual parameters that reflect the VLA OG's intrinsic attributes like attack, defence, etc.

Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the elements that are derived from the digits in the block hash, starting from the third-last up to the eighth-last.
