VeryLongAnimals Origin

Ideation

VeryLongAnimals Origin is an experimental project aimed at reviving extinct animals on the blockchain, utilizing block information.

An animal is only inscribed at the moment a block generation hash displays a specific pattern of Kaprekar's constant; moreover, the longer the animal's history, the more challenging it becomes to find a matching pattern.

A portion of the revenue is allocated to a foundation dedicated to saving endangered species, thereby extending the lifespans of these animals.

Animals Supply

VLA Origin relies on the non-arbitrary generation facilitated by the appearance of Kaprekar's constant within block hashes.

Throughout Bitcoin's history, and despite the number of blocks reaching over 830,000, only 580 instances of Kaprekar's Constant '6174' have been identified. Each occurrence of ‘6174’ stands as a unique milestone in Bitcoin's journey, and serves as the reference point for all 580 Unique Non-Arbitrary Tokens (UNATs) documented so far.

As of its launch date, our original collection of UNATs will comprise an initial set of 580 pieces, featuring 100 different animals with different traits and characteristics.

Looking into the future, projections for Bitcoin's scalability indicate a gradual introduction of animals annually. These subsequent iterations of NATs will continue to be generated non-arbitrarily, with the entire process being propelled by the ongoing generation of Bitcoin blocks. This expansion will facilitate the growth of VLA Origin and the creation of more UNATs.
